Description

Clerodendrum

Clerodendrum is a lovely vine with glossy green leaves and unique red and pink flowers in spring. It can grow up to 6m tall and 6m wide when grown as a vine. It is a great plant to use to cover trellises, fences and other structures in shaded positions in the garden. It can also be grown as a specimen plant in a pot. It should be grown in a part shade position in well drained soils. After flowering it should be pruned to shape and to encourage new growth.
